The market
Hong Kong is one of the world's most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities, with a population of about 7 million people.

With the establishment of more marina clubs in Macau and Mainland China in the near future, yachting shall become very prevalent not only in Hong Kong and Macau, but also the coastal cities in China. So there is much room for business expansion as far as the pleasure boat market is concerned.
About 14 marina clubs are being planned along the coastal cities in China, which will be completed in the next two to three years, providing much broader opportunities for pleasure boat lovers.
In addition to this affinity for boating activities, the increasingly popular trend among tourists to visit France on boating excursion has resulted in an expanding boat rental industry. Because they renew their fleets regularly and look for high quality, ease of maintenance, high resale value and competitive pricing, the boat rental companies tend to be the most common buyers for high priced top of the range boats.
